The Continuing Education and Business services meets the qualification needs required in priority sectors where labor shortages are considered critical by implementing tailored and accredited training programs. It serves both our local clientele in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and Nord-du-Québec, including the James Bay and Indigenous communities, as well as provincial, national, and international clients.
Over the years, the continuing education service has developed expertise in several areas. Indeed, the Continuing Education and Business service’s areas of excellence include health and social services, early childhood education, tourism, natural resource management and development, as well as information technology. The Continuing Education and Business service team is also recognized across Quebec for developing and implementing curriculum tailored to the needs of Indigenous communities.

Who are we?
For over 50 years, the Continuing Education and Business Services of Cégep de St-Félicien has been providing information, training, and support aimed at improving the performance and development of organizations and individuals.
In the early 1980’s, the department expanded its activities in the Northern Quebec region through its Centre d’études collégiales à Chibougamau (CECC).
Since the mid-2000s, it has further expanded its reach internationally by offering tailored training programs to the countries it serves.

Tailored Programs
The Continuing Education and Business Service’s team is also recognized throughout Quebec for developing and implementing study programs tailored to the needs of First Nations and Inuit communities.
We have gained considerable expertise, which we are pleased to share with First Nations communities by offering on-site training programs in various communities.
